The Alumni Association was established in the year 2012 with the name “Modern College Kohima Alumni Association (MCKAA)” and registered in the office of the Registrar of Societies, Home Department, Government of Nagaland with the registration number NO.HOME/SRC – 6819 dated 28-10-2014 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
MCKAA is formed with the objective of connecting with the Alma Mater, fellow classmates, Alumni members and supporting the college and the present students.
Annually, there’s a get-together and 3rd Saturday of every November is observed as the Alumni Day which is hosted by the Alumni Association. Besides the Alumni Day, the MCKAA also helps the present students by conducting Career Guidance, Placement, Admission Guidance, etc.
The Alumni Association is run on the basis of an annual subscription and contribution from Alumni and well-wishers.
